Mt.Hakkoda at Aomori
The Hakoda Mountains, whose highest peak is 1,585 meter, range of more than 17 lava domes and strato-volcanos. This peaks slope gently into extensive marshlands. Nearby Sukayu Onsen has been popular fot its healing waters since the 17th century.
